Miles Ahead helps songwriters handle the business side of their catalogs. That includes song registrations, catalog organization, publishing administration, royalty collection, and making sure important details don't fall through the cracks.

Miles Ahead works with songwriters and independent artists who want help keeping the business side of their catalog organized so they can spend more time focusing on their music.

Not at all. That's why Miles Ahead Entertainment is here. You don't need to have registrations, royalty information, or your catalog perfectly organized before getting started. I'll help you sort through what you have, identify what's missing, and make the process easier to understand.

No. You keep ownership and control of your songs. Miles Ahead Entertainment handles the administrative and organizational work for your catalog.

No. We will go through your existing catalog to see what has already been registered, what information may be missing, and what still needs attention.

This typically includes the song title, PRO and IPI information, a split sheet, and an audio file. Released songs may require additional information, such as the ISRC.

Yes. Your PRO affiliation is still important. Miles Ahead Entertainment helps with the administrative work surrounding your registrations but does not replace your PRO.

Yes. Royalty tracking is part of the services Miles Ahead Entertainment offers, helping you keep better records of what your catalog is earning and where payments are coming from.

A big part of what I do is making sure your songs are registered in the right places so you’re set up to collect the royalties you earn. I also keep track of your registrations and royalty information to help catch missing details or gaps that could cause money to be missed.

There is a $100 startup fee when you sign on and a $50 annual fee after your first year. When publisher’s share royalties are collected on your behalf, Miles Ahead Entertainment retains 10% and pays the remaining 90% to you. Your writer’s share continues to be paid directly to you.

If Songtrust is needed for international royalty collection, their fees are separate from Miles Ahead Entertainment’s pricing. Songtrust charges its own setup fee and retains a percentage of the royalties it collects.

We’ll start by getting your writer information and catalog organized, reviewing what you already have, identifying anything that’s missing, and getting everything set up so we can begin working through your songs.

Reach out through the contact form or send me a message on social media. From there, we can set up a meeting to go over how everything works in more detail, talk about what you need, and answer any other questions you have before getting started.
